For Women’s History Month, we are honoring and celebrating the accomplishments and legacies of American Indian and Alaska Native women. Elizbeth Peratrovich was an Alaska civil rights activist and avid leader. She was Raven of the Tlingit Lukaax.ádi clan and was a critical influence behind the movement of Alaska’s Anti-Discrimination Bill in 1945.
