Our work to #DecolonizeData was on the world stage last week as our Director, Abigail Echo-Hawk (Pawnee), was a Keynote Speaker at the World Congress of Epidemiology.
She addressed the consequences of and solutions to #DataGenocide and encouraged the epidemiology community to “Get comfortable with being uncomfortable” in order to counter structural racism in health.
