The National Congress of American Indians Fund (NCAI Fund) has entered into a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice to provide micro-grants to eligible tribal governments to support crime victim services programs and activities, titled the “2021 NCAI Fund Victim Services Micro-grant Program.” The 2021 NCAI Fund Victim Services Micro-grant Program is open to federally recognized tribal nations outside of Alaska, who did not receive victim services funding from NCAI Fund in 2020. Applicants can apply for up to $150,000 and the project period will be July 1, 2021-June 30, 2022. Available funding can be used to support victim service activities across a range of tribal departments. If your tribal nation is interested in applying for funds, please review the Request for Proposals (RFP). Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, beginning April 1, 2021 until all funds are expended. Please direct any questions to microgrants@ncai.org.
